Evelien De Graef graduated as a documentary director from RITCS Brussels, after obtaining a degree in Spanish language and literature from the University of Antwerp. In 2018 she graduated film school with her short documentary “Histoire d’un boulevard”, that was showcased at the Brussels Festival En Ville and BREEDBEELD Short Film Festival. Between 2019 and 2024, she worked as a producer and impact producer for Clin d’oeil films. Her portfolio includes projects like the VR-experience “Draw for Change: Existimos, Resistimos” (2023) and the feature docs “Marching in the Dark” (2024) and “Kamay” (2024). In that period, she also co-founded the non-profit Blue Bird Docs, fostering the foundations of impact production in Belgium. Additionally, Evelien was part of IDFAcademy 2020 and is an alumna of EURODOC21.
